This post is about FUN! When I was with my family for Christmas, the first day my sister Carly exclaimed, "Can I come to Texas for New Years?!" YES!

Her time in Houston was by far the most fun I've had in Texas. She arrived New Year's Eve- the first thing she said over dinner that night was "Should we go skydiving this week?!" YES!

Favorite New Year's Eve! We popped champagne sitting on my counter- we were enjoying the time there together so much that we stayed in for the night which was perfect. Immediately I felt this beautiful comfort of having here here with me.

Up next, I had to work 14 hours New Year's Day at iFLY. Carly made it the best day there yet by coming to watch and support in the evening. She arrived smiling, sat in on my class, told me how proud she was of me, filmed a lot and ran out to Snap Kitchen to get us dinner. On one of the most hectic days at iFLY, her smile and energy made it amazing. She graciously talked with each of my co-workers there and I was grateful for their kindness to her as well.

And of course, WE FLEW together! There was just 5 minutes left at the end of the night but we made the most of it. Zori generously stayed to drive for us and took fun pictures. I know we'll be back at it soon...somewhere! After work we went out to Heights Beer Garden and enjoyed patio wine next to a fire as it rained. She truly is my Buddha zen sister.

There have been a lot of favorite skydives in my life...but this is the all time #1...and yes you too Dad ;) Carly had skydived twice before but this was the first time we could fly together. Having her there, part of the Spaceland world, made all of the hard work these past 2 years worth it. Seeing her smile in freefall is one of my all-time happiest memories together.

The entire week was full of genuine conversation, workouts, yoga, cooking, waffle breakfasts, good food, shopping and relaxing together. The comfort of having her here made all the difference going into a new year in Texas. Carly truly is the definition of a centered, grounded, caring, loving, compassionate, soulful, strong, genuine, kind, fun, beautiful inside and out person. Thank you Carly for being such a badass sister, jumping right into my life in Texas. You da you da best y TE AMOOO!
